DrillSkill Training forms part of the Australian Drilling Industry Association (ADIA) who develop competency standards for the mineral drilling industry. The ADIA has developed its own set of standards and produces operational guides for industry with DrillSkill Training performing the training and assessment services component of the ADIA objective to provide services and support for the industry.
DrillSkill has been operating since 2008 developing industry working parties, educational planning and infrastructure with Government bodies to improve training and education within the sector. Being a registered Not for Profit Organisation, all funds received are used to improve the quality of the training, learning outcomes and facilities.
DrillSkill’s vision is to provide quality and effective training to the Mineral Exploration Sector of the Drilling Industry in Australia and to promote and achieve, the highest standards of Safety, Training and Professionalism.
