No. The structure of the training package requires that an individual have sufficient practical training and documentary evidence to support their practical experience. DrillSkill Training primarily is a Business to Business training provider and offers employers nationally accredited qualification training in Drilling Operations by way of class based training, practical training and assessments (onsite and at DrillSkill Training facilities).
The standard qualifications are as follows:
- Driller’s Offsider = Certificate II in Drilling Operations – New Starts or Green Hats
- Driller = Certificate III in Drilling Operations – 3-5 years minimum experience on the job
- Supervisors = Certificate IV in Drilling Operations – Recommended for individuals with over 8-10 years experience and possibly moving to managerial roles
