Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments are designed mainly for people already working in the industry who have on-the-job skills and want to obtain full or partial recognition for a formal qualification. Qualifications are available up to Certificate IV Drilling, and are especially useful for companies and individuals wanting to sell their services, gain job portability or a promotion. Some people use the RPL assessment process as a means of identifying the shortfalls and standards of their existing skills.
RPL assessments offered through DrillSkill Training are made:
Once all the evidence is received by DrillSkill Training we cross reference these to Benchmarks for Assessment within the National Skills Framework to verify whether competency has been achieved and confirm whether an individual can perform to the standards expected in the workplace, as expressed in the relevant endorsed unit of competency.
In the areas of work covered by our Training Packages, the endorsed units of competency are the benchmarks for assessment and as such, they provide the basis for nationally recognised Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by DrillSkill Training as a Registered Training Organisation.
DrillSkill issues Qualification Certificates and Statement of Attainment in both paper and photo ID card formats.
